I’ve got a few links to share with you all this week 🙂
Heather is working on her Disney layout pages. You know how much I <3 Disney 🙂 I have been a follower of hers for quite some time and really like her style.
I absolutely adore this butterfly card! Would be a great one to use up some scraps with!
I thought this flower card was neat with the different color petals and then I saw how it was created. I so need to try this!
I thought the background on this card was very striking!
I am hoping to craft quite a bit this weekend on a variety of projects that I’ve been putting off…let’s hope it works out so that I have more to share soon. I’ve not been feeling very crafty lately due to my allergies bothering me. Hopefully a trip to the doctor tomorrow for my shots will fix me right up.
Have a great day!
It’s been a rough re-entry into life post vacation lol. I should have taken a day off to recuperate since I had a medical issue to deal with but I didn’t and now I feel like I can sleep for a week lol. I haven’t stepped foot into the craft room since I left – hoping to change that tomorrow though since I got my SU pre-order box today!! I am so in love with the new in colors!!!
Here’s a few faves I came across this week:
MFT is releasing a die to make your own sequins! It looks pretty neat!
I am always looking for ideas on how to use washi tape. The first card in this post has a simple but effective use of it!
Did you know Target sells wallpaper? I didn’t. Check out this cool Disney wallpaper!
Watercoloring is still a huge trend. I found this cool tutorial on making a watercolor background on a layout.
I love the flowers on this card! Loll made them by layering stencils. I need to look through my stencils to see if I have any that will go together!
I am hoping Mike and I can go through our Memory Maker photos over the weekend so that I can start getting blog posts together to recap our Disney trip! This was our 4th trip and I have flunked at recapping them lol…I still would like to go back to prior trips and at least recap special events we attended and restaurants we tried since that is always good info to have when planning a trip!
Tomorrow is National Scrapbooking Day!!! One of my favorite holidays! This is the month I started scrapbooking TEN years ago. Holy moly! I will be sharing a few layouts this weekend in honor of the holiday and today’s Friday Faves are all scrapbooking related!
Over the last 10 years, I’ve seen many companies come and go. These are my current favorites.
1) Basic Grey – they have been around as long as I have scrapped!
3) Echo Park
5) Bo Bunny
Favorite Sketch Sites (some challenge/some non-challenge)
1) Page Maps
2) Scrapbook Generation (they have some great 2 pagers – although you do have to pay for the sketches. I bought a few several months ago that I love.)
Favorite Scrappers (not a comprehensive list by any means, just picked 5 from my Bloglovin folder!)
1) 17 Turtles
3) Jana Eubank
and since I think you all know I love to shop 🙂
Favorite Online Stores
3) My Favorite Things (love using their dies on my pages!)
I hope you enjoyed my scrappy filled Friday Faves 🙂
TGIF! So happy it’s Friday! I’m ready to spend the weekend crafting and even though it’s still been a little chilly, I’m ready to get our curtains changed over. This is the longest I’ve ever left the drapes up in our 5 winters here!
I absolutely LOVE the background on this card. I’m so intrigued by the mixed media used in cards but still haven’t been able to get my hands dirty yet LOL
Do you use your 6×6 papers on layouts? I typically don’t but check out this layout! Great page design using them!
This card made me smile. I really love the pop of the white flowers against the patterned papers.
Stampin’ Up released their retirement lists earlier this week. This card uses my favorite stamp set – Secret Garden, isn’t it pretty? I’m so sad this set is retiring but it’s a set I will hang on to and still use. It was my first stamp set purchase as a new demo last year!
Thanks for visiting today!
