I finally had time to blog so I pre-scheduled yesterday morning’s and today’s posts. My nephew started preschool at the end of August. I can’t believe he is old enough for school! Seems like yesterday he was a tiny 3 lb baby in the NICU.
He loves Elmo and went to Sesame Place this summer, so I made him an Elmo card to commemorate this milestone. I bought several Sesame Street cartridges on sale awhile back and the Seasons one had several school images. Lucky me!
I used some of my beloved Basic Grey stash on the card. These papers are from the Oxford 6×6 pad. I added a few SU enamel shapes as embellishment.
My nephew loved his card. I stopped to see him on his first day. I’m lucky that he lives close by and I can pop over there easily.
Have a great day!

Last weekend I spent some time scrapbooking pictures of my niece, Madelyn. She is now 7 months old and I am finally getting pages done for her album.
The first one is for Sketch #207 at Sketches in Thyme~
This next one was made using the Week 1, Team B sketch at Let’s Get Sketchy (missed the deadline but still wanted to share!)
And this last one was my own design~
Isn’t she just so precious?! Hopefully there will be several more pages to share next month!
Thanks for stopping by!
My niece was baptized on Sunday and I made this customized card for her.
It took me awhile to put it together as I don’t typically make religious cards. I found a cross in a Verve Christmas stamp set and I made the sentiment using Lawn Fawn’s Milo ABC’s stamp set. I think I did pretty good! The embossed background is from an old Cuttlebug embossing folder from the Decorative Tile set.
Here is a picture of my beautiful niece 🙂 She is 5 months old now.
Thanks for stopping by!
We had a nice quiet Valentine’s Day at home and since today’s prompt is food, I decided to scrapbook our day. Not sure when I’ve scrapbooked pictures so quickly!
I used the February Sketch from Paper Issues and it’s my second entry for my group’s Old/New challenge. I mixed Basic Grey’s Sugar Rush from 2009 and J’Adore from a year or two ago.
I added hearts using an MFT stencil and distress inks in the upper left corner. I used a Simon Says Stamp stencil with tiny hearts on the bottom right.
Here is the sketch~
Have a great night!
