LOAD 22-24

Three days of LOAD rolled into one blog post!

Here is Day 22.  A red/white/blue color challenge…forget which country’s flag now.  I used pictures from the UK pavilion in Epcot. We had a quick little photo shoot with the phone booths. I bought this Pink Paislee Switchboard paper and die cuts two years ago specifically for these pictures. Glad I finally got the page done!

Day 23~ I have no idea why I picked these pictures for Day 23, but it was a fun layout for me to put together using Basic Grey Adrift collection.

Day 24~  The prompt was Culture – Sports. Naturally I chose baseball LOL.  These pictures are from last summer. Mike took me to a game for my birthday and we had excellent seats by the on deck circle for my team. I am so glad I took so many pictures of David Ortiz!  This upcoming season will be his last.  Hoping to make it to one game to bid him farewell. I am getting great use of the Doodlebug Home Run collection!

Thanks for stopping by!

LOAD15 – #15

Today’s prompt was a color one – red, white & blue.  I really wanted to scrap these pictures last week when I saw Sketch #184 at Sketches in Thyme, but I didn’t have the time to do it.  Since I cleaned my desk off, I was able to spend time putting this page together and LOVE how it turned out. I think it’s one of my recent favorites and I want to frame it for my craft room.

I used Doodlebug Design’s Home Run collection for everything except the enamel & blingy stars. The circle frame was cut with my Silhouette. I think it’s the 2nd time I’ve used it this month! More than I’ve used it in the last six months.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!

LOAD5 – Fenway Park

Today’s prompt is Landmark. Initially I thought of something Disney, but remembered I had these pictures of one of my other favorite places!

I used Doodlebug Design’s Home Run collection for this page. I cut up part of the borders paper and layered them on the side. Then added pieces of two other designs.

I stamped in the middle of the two pictures with Lawn Fawn’s Milo and Violet ABCs.

Thanks for visiting!
