We are flashing back to last Friday’s page. This page was also for one of my group’s 24 hour challenges, so I had the collection and a sketch chosen for me. I used My Mind’s Eye Hello World collection which was quite difficult to work with just using the papers and embellishments I had. Mostly the papers since they are soooo busy. I tend to pair the busy papers with a lot of plain cardstock but since I was using just the collection, I did what I could lol.
One of the exceptions to using just the collection is using any alphas that we have since some collections do not have them and in my case, they were small letters better used for a subtitle. Adding the black lettering really helped the title stand out on my page.
4 more days of LOAD! I will post another catch up page tonight.
Have a great day!
Skipping over several LOAD pages to get this one posted in time for the deadline.
I used the monthly sketch at Imaginisce for tonight’s page. I dug out my Perfect Vacation collection from a few years ago, everything on the page is from there except for the green cardstock and enamel dots. The requirement of pink or red is included with the pops of red in the patterned paper, die cuts and enamel dots.
As I’ve mentioned on the blog before, I went on a Disney trip with some online friends in September. This was our first group photo from the meet up.
There are two Hidden Mickeys on the page, can you find them? 🙂
Here is the sketch~
That’s all for tonight! I have a lot of blogging to catch up on in the next few days and 4 more days of LOAD to complete!
I’m still on track with LOAD, just not posting them here daily. This page was created for LOAD as well as several other challenges. I used Sketch #99 at Sketch-N-Scrap, the color challenge for Lasting Memories Challenge #280 and my group’s Office Space challenge (to include something you would find in an office on your page, either on the paper or embellishment).
I picked pictures from one of my favorite Disney rides, Spaceship Earth. I just love this scene and I think after 6 trips, these are the best pictures I have taken of it.
In the journaling I talked about the part computers have played in my life in recent years. I pulled the title from having the huge computers in the photos and added a laptop stamp from Gina K Designs for the small part. I thought it was a neat idea. I used Basic Grey’s Aurora collection which I purchased specifically for Epcot Future World pictures. The colors worked well for the Lasting Memories challenge.
Here is the sketch (which I rotated to fit my pictures better)~
and the color palette~
I hope to be back later with another page!
Today’s prompt was an easy one – food! I always have plenty of food pictures to scrapbook. For today’s layout, I used pictures from my September 2015 Disney trip.
We had our group dinner at Trail’s End. The dinner and dessert were great. I can’t wait to go back!
I used a 2 page layout from one of my Disney scrapbooking groups. It took quite a bit of time to get everything cut and glued down. I really like how it came out! Patterned paper and embellishments are from Imaginisce’s Give Thanks collection.
Thanks for stopping by!
