I made good use of my afternoon off by getting today’s card done already! I went a bit vintage with this card by using a stamp set from 2009 and paper from 2010 (dug out of my paper closet a few weeks ago!)

I started by picking a few papers out of the DCWV Amber Autumn stack. I really liked the apple paper and found an apple image in the stamp set to go with it! I then built the card using pieces from MFT Blueprints 24.

Fall Day 2

I added a few sequins and some washi tape to finish off the card.

Have a great day!

Last card for Christmas in July 2016

One last post for today! My last Christmas card for July. I’ll be continuing my quest next month since I still have Christmas stuff strewn all over my room for the cards I didn’t get to this month.

I’d like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge #374 – A Touch of Sparkle

Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge #292 – Anything Goes Christmas

2016 Card 78 - There She Goes Snowy Days

The snowflake background was made using an Echo Park stencil and MFT ink.  Then I added Stickles dry glitter using my Quickie Glue pen.  It was then cut out using the tag die from my MFT Blueprints 9 dienamics. The border and half circle are also from that set.

The image from There She Goes was stamped on Copic Xpress blending card and colored with copics. I added Star Dust stickles to the tree and dog.  Once it was dry, I cut it out with a stitched circle die from MFT. The bow was made using the Dainty Bow dienamics also from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by!
