Christmas in July 2017 #5

Good morning!

Today I am sharing card 5 for Christmas in July! Some time last year, I made a list of my Christmas stamps and papers to “match up” along with different coloring methods.

I used a stamp set from WPlus9, paper from Echo Park and distress inks to color the images.

I used Blueprints 15 from MFT to make a layout for my card. The embossed panel was made with Echo Park’s Pine Boughs folder.

Have a great day!

Supplies~

Stamps: WPlus9 Friends for All Seasons Winter

Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black, Tim Holtz Distress inks: Rusty Hinge, Barn Door, Mowed Lawn

CS: MFT Kraft and Jellybean Green, Canson Mix Media

PP: Echo Park I Love Christmas

Other: WPlus9 Friends for All Seasons Winter dies, Echo Park Pine Boughs embossing folder, MFT Blueprints 15

Christmas in July 2017 #4

I was able to get two Christmas cards made this afternoon! I’ll share one now and have one scheduled to post tomorrow. I am having a ton of fun creating this month!

This is from one of my Matchup lists – Lawn Fawn stamps + Pebbles paper and a twist of watercolor pencils. I used my Lyra Aquarell pencils to color the images on Canson Mix Media paper.

I continued the sentiment on the inside with “cheery & bright”.

I am entering this card into the Christmas in July challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.

Have a great night!

Christmas in July 2017 #3

Hi!

Here is card 3 for Christmas in July! This one was created from one of my lists – full of MFT stamps and dies! This list has Christmas stamps, Blueprints, background stamps and possible color combos. The possibilities are endless!

All the pieces were cut with MFT Blueprints one. The white panel was stamped with the Abstract background in Paver Red. The green panel was stamped with On the Diagonal background stamp in Gumdrop Green on Gumdrop Green cardstock. The button was finished with SU Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine.

Have a great night!

Christmas in July 2017 #2 {30 minute card}

Hi!

I’m here to share Card #2 for Christmas in July! It was a quick and easy one to put together and a good design for mass producing (if you like to do that!)

I used the current sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches that closes in a couple hours. I think it’s one I will save to use again!

I used all Stampin’ Up! products on this one. Old stamps and paper mixed with new dies and embellishments. I love the pattern on the tree! I think it adds a lot of interest. I couldn’t resist adding a star on top.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!
