Just Because for Share Joy Challenge

Hello!

I made this card on Friday and mailed it out to a friend to say hello today.  I used the sketch and tic tac toe challenge at the Share Joy Challenge.

I used one of my favorite summer sets from Taylored Expressions, A Day in Paradise, for the main image and sentiment. The splatters were created using a stamp from SU Gorgeous Grunge and Marina Mist ink stamped off once.

I chose the first line for the tic tac toe portion of the challenge – wood veneer, stitching and ink splatter.

Last card for Christmas in July 2016

One last post for today! My last Christmas card for July. I’ll be continuing my quest next month since I still have Christmas stuff strewn all over my room for the cards I didn’t get to this month.

I’d like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge #374 – A Touch of Sparkle

Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge #292 – Anything Goes Christmas

2016 Card 78 - There She Goes Snowy Days

The snowflake background was made using an Echo Park stencil and MFT ink.  Then I added Stickles dry glitter using my Quickie Glue pen.  It was then cut out using the tag die from my MFT Blueprints 9 dienamics. The border and half circle are also from that set.

The image from There She Goes was stamped on Copic Xpress blending card and colored with copics. I added Star Dust stickles to the tree and dog.  Once it was dry, I cut it out with a stitched circle die from MFT. The bow was made using the Dainty Bow dienamics also from MFT.

Top Dog Hello

Hi again!

I made this card the other night for a furry friend card swap and the current sketch at MFT Card Challenges.

2016 Card 77 - MFT Top Dog

I used a cute dog from the Top Dog stamp set and a sentiment from LLD Sweet Succulents.  The window was cut with the LJD Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window die. I added two strips of patterned paper from Painted Prints Citrus and Subtle Plaids paper packs. I finished off the card with two paw print brads from my stash.

Here is the sketch (which I rotated to better fit my image)~

Christmas in July 2016 – Day 8

Hello!

I am back with my card for Christmas in July Day 8.

It took me several attempts to get this background right.

The Ton Stamps Stamp of Approval

This combination is Versamark  & Wow embossing powder in Metallic Platinum super fine. My first experience with a Wow powder and I am super impressed! I bought several on Amazon to try as heat embossing and I don’t get along very well. I think that may change now!

My own challenge for this card was The Ton Stamps (this was designed by them for the Holiday Magic Stamp of Approval box), Crate Paper and stickles.  I really love how this card turned out and may need to keep it lol!

Thanks for stopping by!
