Christmas in July 2016 Days 5 & 6 + Lotus Flowers

Hello!  I finally got back into my craft room today to start catching up on Christmas in July!

My first card for Christmas in July Day 5 uses Stampin’ Up! and I am entering this card into the ABC Christmas Challenge – N is for No Rules.

I used the Among the Branches stamp set and the Woodland embossing folder. The patterned papers are from the All is Calm designer paper series.

My second card is for Christmas in July Day 6 and uses Verve stamps and Carta Bella paper. I used texture paste with a stencil from MFT which I heat set. I added some stickles to the branch image.  I am entering this card into the Anything Goes challenge at Craft Rocket Challenges.

2016 Card 74 - Verve Stamps Merry Wishes

And lastly I have a floral birthday card I made using Waffle Flower stamps and Bo Bunny papers. The flowers were stamped and then cut out with my Scan N Cut and colored with copics.

LOAD8 – New Toy

Today was a color prompt – red & white from the Canadian flag.

I came across these pictures from my stepdad’s birthday and I had the Carta Bella It’s a Celebration set aside to use with them. I added in a few pops of color with the balloons to keep it fun.

Page design is all mine. I am trying to challenge myself to not use a sketch once in awhile.

Fun fact: I have scrapped 33 photos this month and I am only 8 days into this challenge. Hoping to at least double that number by month’s end.

Thanks for stopping by!

There She Goes + Carta Bella, Take Two

When I devised this Matchup plan of mine, I originally wanted to make three cards each time…birthday, Christmas and everyday cards. Well time is not my friend most days lol!

I have some extra time today, so I made a winter card using There She Goes Snowy Days stamp set and the same birthday paper pad as my earlier card.

The image was colored with Lyra Polycolor pencils and accented with Star Dust stickles.

There She Goes + Carta Bella

Happy weekend!

I am using my long weekend to catch up on my crafting. My first card today is for my Matchup Challenge. I am using There She Goes stamps (no longer in business) and Carta Bella papers. My twist is to use a border punch.

The flowers were colored with my Lyra Polycolor pencils. My first time using them and wow, what a difference from the Prismacolors. All of my layers were cut with MFT Blueprints 15 and I added a small border with an old Fiskara punch. I added a sentiment from the set and some twine to finish it off.

Supplies~

Stamps: There She Goes What’s Up Buttercup?

Ink: MFT Cement Gray and Black Licorice hybrid

CS: SU Whisper White, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals

PP: Carta Bella It’s a Celebration

Other: twine, MFT Blueprints 15, Fiskars border punch
