A very belated Happy New Year to you all!
If you are still here, thanks for sticking with me! I have been in a major crafty funk and decided to take an extended blogging break. I’m not sure how often I will post but since I did recently make a card, I thought I would share it.
One of my card groups does a brand swap each month. It’s one of my favorites to participate in! This month the chosen company is Taylored Expressions, a long time favorite.
I used copics to color in this Wildflower Bouquet image and the paper is from Authentique. I kept the layout pretty simple to focus on the beautiful flower arrangement.
Have a great night!
I’m trying to get back on track with my Fall and Halloween project and have this card to share tonight.
I found this cute Halloween Cookies stamp by Pink Ink at a small scrapbook store last summer and finally inked it up last night. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and then blended it with Gamsol. I colored several images the same way yesterday and was quite pleased with the results! I think I might reach for my pencils more often now instead of relying on my Copics. The paper is from Authentique Mysterious paper pad and I added die cuts from Taylored Expressions and MFT.
The layout is Sketch #370 from Tuesday Morning Sketches which closes in a few minutes!
Tonight is the NCIS: Los Angeles season premiere! One of my favorite shows and I’m so happy it’s back!
Have a great night!
Today’s Christmas card features WPlus9 stamps, Authentique papers and watercolor pencils.
The image from the Merriest Wishes stamp set was watercolored with Lyra Aquarell pencils and fussy cut. Both patterned paper layers were cut with the WPlus9 Sunshine Layers dies. It doesn’t show well in the picture but I added Fun Flock to the elf’s hat.
Have a great day!
Stamps: WPlus9 Merriest Wishes
Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black
CS: MFT Kraft, Canson Mix Media watercolor paper
PP: Authentique Believe
Other: WPlus9 Sunshine Layers dies, silver brad from my stash, Stampendous Fun Flock
I made this card and gift card holder on Friday night and totally forgot about posting them.
My mom had to work on Mother’s Day so we celebrated this past Saturday with breakfast and a day of shopping.
The little pocket was made using the Mini Treat Bag thinlits die from Stampin Up using Authentique Delightful papers. I added a few elements from MFT Blueprints 1 which I also used on the card.
I found this Stamping Bella image when I was cleaning in my room. It was stamped years and years ago, not sure what her name is anymore. I colored her with my Lyra Polycolor pencils since it wasn’t Copic friendly paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
