Halloween Cookies

image

Hi!

I’m trying to get back on track with my Fall and Halloween project and have this card to share tonight.

I found this cute Halloween Cookies stamp by Pink Ink at a small scrapbook store last summer and finally inked it up last night. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and then blended it with Gamsol. I colored several images the same way yesterday and was quite pleased with the results! I think I might reach for my pencils more often now instead of relying on my Copics.  The paper is from Authentique Mysterious paper pad and I added die cuts from Taylored Expressions and MFT.

The layout is Sketch #370 from Tuesday Morning Sketches which closes in a few minutes!

Tonight is the NCIS: Los Angeles season premiere! One of my favorite shows and I’m so happy it’s back!

Have a great night!

6th Anniversary

Today is our 6th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe it has been that long already lol!

This is the card I made for Mike.  I used the current sketch at Case This Sketch and color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary.  I used all Stampin Up supplies, including the Number of Years set that has made a few appearances on the blog in recent weeks!

The very vanilla layer was embossed with the Woodgrain folder but it’s not showing up too well. I thought it added a touch of masculinity to the card and it’s a reminder that we got married outdoors and took some of our pictures in a wooded area. 🙂

Preschool Elmo card

Happy Tuesday!

I finally had time to blog so I pre-scheduled yesterday morning’s and today’s posts.  My nephew started preschool at the end of August. I can’t believe he is old enough for school! Seems like yesterday he was a tiny 3 lb baby in the NICU.

He loves Elmo and went to Sesame Place this summer, so I made him an Elmo card to commemorate this milestone. I bought several Sesame Street cartridges on sale awhile back and the Seasons one had several school images. Lucky me!

I used some of my beloved Basic Grey stash on the card. These papers are from the Oxford 6×6 pad. I added a few SU enamel shapes as embellishment.

My nephew loved his card. I stopped to see him on his first day. I’m lucky that he lives close by and I can pop over there easily.

What’s on My Desk Card

Today I signed up for a “What’s on My Desk” card swap. I could only use what was on my desk…and I made the card tonight! That will likely never happen so quickly again lol!  I really want to clean my desk off so the card had to get made!

I used Birthday Flopsey from MFT, a long retired stamp line, along with the current MFT sketch.

My favorite companies are MFT and Stampin Up so it’s no surprise that this card has both! The card base, patterned paper and orange stars are all SU. The image panel, stars and smaller pieces were cut with MFT Dienamics.
