Christmas in July 2017 #5

Good morning!

Today I am sharing card 5 for Christmas in July! Some time last year, I made a list of my Christmas stamps and papers to “match up” along with different coloring methods.

I used a stamp set from WPlus9, paper from Echo Park and distress inks to color the images.

I used Blueprints 15 from MFT to make a layout for my card. The embossed panel was made with Echo Park’s Pine Boughs folder.

Have a great day!

Supplies~

Stamps: WPlus9 Friends for All Seasons Winter

Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black, Tim Holtz Distress inks: Rusty Hinge, Barn Door, Mowed Lawn

CS: MFT Kraft and Jellybean Green, Canson Mix Media

Christmas in July 2017 #4

I was able to get two Christmas cards made this afternoon! I’ll share one now and have one scheduled to post tomorrow. I am having a ton of fun creating this month!

This is from one of my Matchup lists – Lawn Fawn stamps + Pebbles paper and a twist of watercolor pencils. I used my Lyra Aquarell pencils to color the images on Canson Mix Media paper.

I continued the sentiment on the inside with “cheery & bright”.

I am entering this card into the Christmas in July challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.

Have a great night!

Pizza My Heart

My crafty day got off to a late start, but here I am finally to share my first card!

Yesterday I saw the Pizza prompt at Casology and may have squealed a bit lol. I love pizza! So I knew I had to make a card to enter.

I pulled out my Lawn Fawn Pizza My Heart stamp set to ink up for the first time. I bought it after I used it at a Lawn Fawn class last year. My pizza has two of our favorite toppings, pepperoni and peppers! We often order the Italian Flag at our local pizza place, it has pepperoni, peppers amd onions on it.

I used a piece of patterned paper from MFT Tiny Check Brights to mimic a tablecloth at a restaurant. I used a sentiment from the stamp set and on the inside continued it with another sentiment, “We’re an awesome combination”. I’m going to give it to my husband soon 🙂 I usually only make him cards for his birthday, our anniversary and Valentine’s Day, so I think he will be surprised and happy!

I hope to be back later with a Christmas card to share.

Happy 4th of July!

I created two patriotic cards to share today. I’ve had these Taylored Expressions stamps in my stash for awhile now. I finally dusted them off yesterday and inked them up for the first time using Tim Holtz distress markers.
