Christmas in July 2017 #2 {30 minute card}

Hi!

I’m here to share Card #2 for Christmas in July! It was a quick and easy one to put together and a good design for mass producing (if you like to do that!)

I used the current sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches that closes in a couple hours. I think it’s one I will save to use again!

I used all Stampin’ Up! products on this one. Old stamps and paper mixed with new dies and embellishments. I love the pattern on the tree! I think it adds a lot of interest. I couldn’t resist adding a star on top.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!

Supplies ~ all Stampin’ Up!

Stamps: Lots of Joy

Ink: Gumball Green

CS: Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, gold foil

DSP: Be of Good Cheer

Other: border punch (forgot the name, it’s that old lol), Stitched Shapes framelits, Layering Ovals framelits, Metallic enamel shapes

50th Birthday Card

Hi and Happy July!

This is the last card I made in June. It’s also card 7 for Craft from My Stash Summer challenge. I missed my monthly goal by 3 cards but I’ll make up for it this month!

I found a great sketch at Inkspire Me to use for this masculine 50th birthday card.

Everything I used is from Stampin’ Up! I cut the 50 with gold foil from the Large Number framelits. The circle was stamped with a little pattern stamp from the Number of Years set. I just couldn’t leave the circle plain lol! White space drives me crazy.

Here is a close up of the card, so you can see the shine~

And the sketch I used~

I’ll be back shortly with another card!

Supplies ~ all Stampin’ Up except where noted

Stamps: Number of Years, Birthday Banners (sentiment)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

CS: Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Basic Black

DSP: Urban Underground

Other: goil foil paper, Large Number framelits, dimensionals, linen thread, Neutrals buttons, Layering Circle framelits

Happy Father’s Day!

Tonight I am sharing the card I made for my stepdad. It is also Card 4 for my Craft from My Stash challenge…I need to get on the ball if I plan to make my 10-15 project goal this month!

I used Nailed It from Stampin’ Up! that recently retired along with the coordinating paper, Urban Underground. I watercolored the tools using a blender pen and SU inks. The layout is from a sketch posted at TGIF Challenges a couple weeks ago.

Here is the inside using more stamps from the set. I managed to use 7 out of the 14 stamps in the set on this card!

Thanks for stopping by!

40th Birthday Card

Good morning!!

I have been meaning to post since the beginning of the month and keep getting sidetracked with other things.

(Graphic made using an old photo of my room and the Rhonna Designs app)

June kicked off my 3rd Annual Craft from My Stash, where I focus more on using my craft stash and less on purchasing new products. Two exceptions are a new catalog order from SU (already in the works before I decided to run my challenge again lol) and a trip to the LSS in August for my bday. My goal is to complete 10-15 projects per month (cards, layouts, etc.)

A few weeks ago, one of my dear friends celebrated her 40th birthday. I wasn’t sure what to do for her card and came across the sketch from As You Can See It, the day it was posted.

I used SU’s Number of Years stamp set and coordinating dies for the numbers and sentiment. The scalloped square was stamped with sprinkles from the Cool Treats stamp set. The patterned paper is from the coordinating Tasty Treats dsp.

Here is the sketch~

I’ll be back in a bit with another card!
