Monochromatic Foliage

Hi! I am here to share Card 6 for Craft from My Stash 2017!

Yesterday I created this card for a foliage swap. My first thought was fall colors, but then I decided to use a green color palette since everything here is lush and green right now. I used the current sketch from CAS(E) this sketch.

I used my Misti to line up and stamp groupings of leaves from MFT’s LJD Geometric Greenery with MFT Sour Apple, Gumdrop Green and Jellybean Green inks. I then die cut the panel with my Stitched Rectangle Stax. I stamped one leaf with Gumdrop Green ink on Gumdrop Green cardstock and then popped it up with dimensionals. The bottom layer was embossed with an old Cuttlebug folder. I finished the card off with several Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

I also decorated the inside!

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!

Hay There!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a barnyard animal swap using the MFT Weekly Sketch #338. I loved the big focal point to use the barn die that’s been sitting in my stash unused for way too long! This is also Card #5 for my Craft from My Stash challenge.

I used MFT’s Birdie Brown The Whole Herd stamp set. The animals are just too cute! I cut the die cut pieces first and then stamped the images using my Misti. They were then colored with copics.

Here is a close up of the barn, so you can see how it embossed when it was cut. Love the little details that bring these cards to life.

The little chicken sticking out the window was something I saw online. I thought it was so cute, so I had to try it.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great day!

Goodbye Mojo Monday

Mojo Monday, one of the first sketch challenges out there, is ending it’s run with Sketch 500. I was so very sad to read the news! I have followed this site from the beginning.

I decided to use their last sketch for my husband’s birthday card. I have this post scheduled to go live after I give him the card lol. This is also card #3 for my Craft from My Stash challenge.

The inside sentiment is what inspired me to use this MFT Make a Wish stamp set. It’s one long line that wouldn’t fit on the block so I bent it and selective inked each part to make it go on two lines.

The front of the card was a labor of love trying to ink each candle individually as it was all one stamp! The coordinating dies cut them out individually. I stamped the panel behind the candles with MFT Balloon Strings background and the bottom panel is the MFT Happy Birthday background.

Here is the sketch ~

Have a great night!

Preschool Graduation Card

I’m back with my 2nd post for the day and project 2 for my 2017 Craft from My Stash challenge.

This card is for my little nephew/godson who graduated from preschool today! I’m still in shock and awe that he is old enough for kindergarten!!

I used the MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge that closes shortly, nothing like waiting til the last minute lol! I made this card very late last night. I had no idea what I wanted to make and as I was flipping through my stamps, I came across an old set that hasn’t seen much ink – LJD Out on a Limb, the letters & numbers circles are perfect for a school related card!

Here is the sketch ~

I started this post earlier and then ran out of time before I had to leave, so now you get to see the little graduate!

It was a fun little ceremony full of cute kids singing songs.

Have a great day!
