Christmas in July 2017 #4

I was able to get two Christmas cards made this afternoon! I’ll share one now and have one scheduled to post tomorrow. I am having a ton of fun creating this month!

This is from one of my Matchup lists – Lawn Fawn stamps + Pebbles paper and a twist of watercolor pencils. I used my Lyra Aquarell pencils to color the images on Canson Mix Media paper.

I continued the sentiment on the inside with “cheery & bright”.

I am entering this card into the Christmas in July challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.

Have a great night!

Supplies~

Stamps: Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas

Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black

CS: MFT Sweet Tooth, Canson Mix Media

PP: Pebbles Winter Wonderland

Other: Lyra Aquarell pencils, Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas dies, MFT Rectangle Stax, MFT Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Stax

Pizza My Heart

My crafty day got off to a late start, but here I am finally to share my first card!

Yesterday I saw the Pizza prompt at Casology and may have squealed a bit lol. I love pizza! So I knew I had to make a card to enter.

I pulled out my Lawn Fawn Pizza My Heart stamp set to ink up for the first time. I bought it after I used it at a Lawn Fawn class last year. My pizza has two of our favorite toppings, pepperoni and peppers! We often order the Italian Flag at our local pizza place, it has pepperoni, peppers amd onions on it.

I used a piece of patterned paper from MFT Tiny Check Brights to mimic a tablecloth at a restaurant. I used a sentiment from the stamp set and on the inside continued it with another sentiment, “We’re an awesome combination”. I’m going to give it to my husband soon 🙂 I usually only make him cards for his birthday, our anniversary and Valentine’s Day, so I think he will be surprised and happy!

I hope to be back later with a Christmas card to share.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Today I am sharing the card I made for my nephew. Looking forward to seeing him tonight! He is going to be Cat Boy from PJ Masks.

Once again I used the super cute Lawn Fawn Happy Howloween stamp set and the Boos & Brews Doodlebug Design paper. The sketch I used is the last one from Pals Paper Arts, so sad to see this challenge blog closing!

I mixed a few papers and some washi tape from the same Doodlebug collection to make this card. It’s a little busy for me but I am sure my nephew will like it 🙂

Happy 1st Howl-o-ween!

Hi!

Tonight I am sharing the Halloween card I made for my niece.  I can’t wait to see her tomorrow. She is going to be an owl.

I used my new Lawn Fawn Happy Howloween stamp set with new Doodlebug Design paper, Boos & Brews, along with the Mojo Monday sketch.  The ghosts are from a Taylored Expression die set.  I added the “1st” from an old PTI set called Make a Wish Additions.
