Milestone Birthday

Well hello! Another week has flown by already!

Here I am sharing another card for Tuesday Morning Sketches with less than an hour to spare. I did make it on Tuesday for my Mom’s birthday on Wednesday. I’ve been sick since then so I haven’t been up for sharing. Finally on the upswing I think!

I loved the sketch but ran into so many problems making this! I actually broke my Big Shot trying to cut a different doily die :-( Thankfully it is under warranty with Stampin’ Up! so they are replacing it. I am so thankful I still kept my Cuddlebug so I could continue with making the card using dies.

As part of my Stamp My Stash personal challenge, I used MFT’s By the Numbers stamp set and die set for the first time. I was a little disappointed in how the ‘th’ stamped. I couldn’t get a clean image no matter how hard I tried. The stamps didn’t seem to be raised enough so the base wouldn’t pick up the ink.

At least Mom was happy with the card and that’s all that matters! Hopefully my next attempt at cardmaking will go a little more smoothly.

Here is the sketch I used~

Thanks for looking!

Stamps: MFT By the Numbers
